Built for understanding

BIMI World is a free educational project run by an individual, not a registered company.

Email authentication can be full of acronyms, and BIMI connects several disciplines at once. This site breaks the subject into small, linked guides. Start with a summary, learn the terms in context, and follow the detail when you need it.

How we handle information

We link to primary sources and distinguish provider-specific behaviour from general guidance. The current edition was reviewed on 1 November 2026. Examples use reserved example domains and fictional brands; they are illustrations, not customer results or endorsements.

We do not promise that a logo will appear in every inbox, that a certificate is appropriate for every organisation, or that BIMI produces a particular marketing result. Those outcomes depend on your implementation and the receiving provider.

Tools with clear boundaries

The readiness assessment uses your answers. The record builder checks the structure of the details you enter. Neither performs a live domain scan, validates an SVG, verifies a certificate, or changes DNS. Those tool inputs are processed in your browser and are not submitted by the site to an external service.

The site uses optional Google Analytics only after you consent. Hosting and security services may process technical request information and use security cookies. See Cookies & Privacy for details about analytics, the data explorer and Barry the BIMI Bot.

A resource for your whole team

Marketers, designers, email administrators, and brand owners all have a role to play. The team playbook provides a practical way to align those responsibilities.
